APPROACH
A CALM PRESENCE, NOT A
CENTRE STAGE PHOTOGRAPHER
Your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot, it’s a story unfolding in real time. I’m not the shouty type with a shot list and a stopwatch, I’m there to document things as they happen without interrupting or staging what’s going on. The main thing is that it feels like you.
The quiet looks, the proud glances and the happy tears, I blend into the background when needed, step in with calm guidance when the moment calls for it and keep everything feeling relaxed and natural. Whether it’s the buzz of morning prep or the wild messiness of the dancefloor, I’ll be there, camera in hand, capturing it all.
You’ll find I bring a steady, supportive energy, the kind that means you’ll barely notice I’m there… until you see your gallery and realise I caught it all.
The real, unfiltered, blink and you’ll miss it stuff.
That’s the good bit.

BLENDING IN, NOT TAKING OVER
I’m not here to force your day into a perfectly curated highlight reel, I’m here to document it as it really happens. The belly laughs, the soft glances, the spontaneous moments no one saw coming but will never forget. That’s where the real story lives.
While we’ll absolutely make time for a few frame worthy portraits (your nan will want one for the mantelpiece after all), the heart of what I do is documentary. I’m drawn to the in between bits, the quiet moments, the chaos, the nerves, the joy and all the beautifully unscripted stuff that gives your day its character and makes it yours.
And yes, bring your Pinterest boards, your ideas, your must haves! I’ll always listen. But the best photos? They usually happen in the unplanned seconds when you’re not even thinking about the camera.
PORTRAITS THAT FEEL LIKE YOU
I genuinely love the couples sessions at weddings. But I’m a big believer that photography should never come at the expense of your time with your people. I plan these moments around the natural pauses in the day, between courses, during coffees or in that quiet lull before the evening party kicks in. That way you’re not missing out on memories while making more of them.
Most couples tell me they’re a bit awkward in front of the camera and honestly, that’s completely normal. I don’t expect you to know what to do.
When it’s time to head off for portraits, we’ll keep things short, relaxed and full of energy. No awkward posing, no cheesy prompts and absolutely no pressure to perform… unless that’s your vibe, in which case I’m all in for creating something a bit more styled or guided. It’s really just a moment to breathe, reset and soak it all in (and maybe have a laugh while we’re at it).

A FRIENDLY FACE ON THE DAY
You’ve spent months planning this celebration and the last thing you need is a photographer turning it into a performance.
My approach is built on trust, awareness and timing. I’ll never pull you away from the moments that matter or ask you to redo anything “for the shot.” I know when to step back and let a moment breathe and when to quietly step in and capture something as it unfolds.
You’ll spend more time with your photographer than almost anyone else on your wedding day and I don’t take that lightly. I’m not just there to take great photos, I’m there to bring a calm, friendly presence from start to finish. Whether I’m helping with buttonholes, chatting with your gran or making sure you’ve had a drink in your hand at least once.. I’m fully in it with you.
We’ll catch up before the day to talk through everything that matters to you so when it arrives I won’t feel like a stranger. My goal is to fit into the day in a way that feels effortless so you can stay fully present while I quietly capture the moments that matter most.

TRUE TO LIFE EDITING
When it comes to editing, I keep things clean, natural and warm. The goal is always timeless. Something that still feels like you years down the line. I use true to life colours and a gentle polish that brings out the best in every image without it ever feeling overdone.
From golden hour portraits to the dancefloor, I want your photos to feel just as alive as the day itself. I aim for a finish that feels effortless with rich tones, soft light and an overall warmth.
I’m not about filters or heavy edits that distract from the moment. Every gallery is edited to take you straight back to how it all felt -
the mood, the setting and the people you shared it with.

GOT PLANS?
I'D LOVE TO HEAR THEM
